Attendees will be provided with tools and instructional procedures for teaching morphology to students in lower and upper elementary grades in one-on-one and group settings.

S.H.I.N.E.

S.H.I.N.E. (Schenck Helping Individuals in Need Excel) helps students become confident, proficient readers through intensive, effective tutoring.

This program offers one-on-one tutoring at no cost to metro-area children ages 5 to 15 who have documented reading challenges and meet specific financial criteria.

All tutors in this program are Schenck School volunteers. Reading instruction is grounded in the Orton-Gillingham Approach, a research-based, multisensory, highly successful approach to phonics and reading instruction.
