Classroom Educator Practicum

An individual in the Classroom Educator Practicum will be mentored by a Fellow (or Fellow-in-Training) to continue refining skills to integrate and apply the knowledge, concepts, and skills learned during the coursework in a classroom setting.

The Supervising Fellow (or Fellow-in-Training) will observe a 40-60 minute lesson on 5 separate occasions and provide written and verbal feedback as well as ongoing support over the course of one school year. After completion of the practicum, the individual will be qualified to seek certification with the Orton-Gillingham Academy at the Classroom Educator Level.

Due to changes in the OGA standards, Classroom Educator Practicum Certification can no longer be applied towards the Associate Level Practicum.
